It isMoreWeeks Beginning is the start of a love story that is concluded in a second book, Weeks Ending. The protagonist is a possibly insane, hopelessly beautiful, thirty-ish party girl movie star trying to restart her life while in disguise. It is non-pornographic- in fact, there is not one sex scene, but it is definitely obscene in multiple other areas. It is not for the closed-minded or those after a simple cookie-cutter love story. There is an excessive amount of vulgar dialog, and the protagonists views on Catholicism and Christianity will be offensive to those with traditional values. The story takes place in Galveston, Texas, and involves fishing, cooking, pornographic ebooks, movies, inane prattling, a mermaid with green tortilla-sized aureolas, and a raped coffee-drinking fluffy ewe. Those with a warped sense of humor might find themselves occasionally laughing out loud. Sticklers for propriety wont finish the first few chapters. The story is dialog-driven in the first person perspective. Since the protagonist is a movie star, movie plot lines play a significant role. Consider it a mixture of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Pretty Woman, Tortilla Soup, The Little Mermaid, Like Water For Chocolate, and numerous others.Hidden throughout the book(s) are subtle jabs specifically aimed at ebook authors who dont have a mastery of the English language and are either too lazy or too cheap to hire someone to proof their work. The author makes no claim that these books are good, but they have been proofed by an extremely competent English teacher. Nitpickers demanding grammatical purity will not be able to gripe about that aspect of the books merits.
