|About the Book|
TIME LINES is a collection of thoughts, questions, and comments inspired by the lives and works of more than 100 famous, not-so-famous, and a few infamous historical figures. The subject matter is diverse, and can best be described as social commentary, covering personages from Abbey to Zeno, and topics such as philosophy, science, religion, war, race, ethics, journalism, law, and politics. To get an idea of the nature of TIME LINES, examine the sample entries from the book that appear on this web page. Each entry, whether light-hearted or poignant in nature, is intended to consider a given issue from an original, unique perspective, and in a manner that leads to further reflection on that issue. The reader must decide if I have achieved these goals.
